This kind of brand experience is what transforms generic locations into distinctive places. And it is such places that attract economic development, urban regeneration, and civic pride and engagement. For this reason 7Story focuses on communities in transition—small, growing cities, business improvement districts, redevelopment areas, and organizations with changing or expanding missions.

Strategic Approach
We approach the design of public spaces strategically. Whether working at the city, neighborhood or project level, we offer three interlocking services: brand development, strategic planning, and implementation of urban art/design projects. While we can focus on any one of these stages, the most successful projects involve all three.



Projects Large and Small
Our scope ranges from identity mapping for an entire city to the activation of a small plaza. Projects can include outdoor urban public spaces such as parks, downtown streetscapes, waterfronts and plazas; transportation centers and transit stops; the social spaces within large organizations such as lobbies, exhibit halls and corporate campuses, and mission-driven sites such as youth and community centers.
